As Indigenous people, cultivating relationships with the land is an integral part of a sustainable environment and bountiful harvests. Today, many Indigenous People are landless while much of the land they cultivated in the past sits unattended and unavailable. With a land or generous monetary donation to Mno Aki you can help to create a thriving future for all Canadians.
Mno Aki Land Trust is governed and supported by the Council of Grandmothers, Board of Directors, Partners, Supporters, and local grandmothers who work collaboratively to protect and preserve Mno Aki’s values and vision.
Mno Aki Land Trust is a CRA-registered charity that can receive donations of land and financial gifts from across Canada. Mno Aki offers tax incentives including through the federal government’s Ecological Gifting Program. We also offer assistance with the land transfer process and estate planning to explore the gift that works best for you and your family.
